Help! looking for 'apocalyptic' music...

Hey guys... desperately need help finding a piece of music I hope to use for a video. I don't have anything specific in mind (i.e. I'm not looking for a piece of music that I've heard before but forgotten the name of), but here are a few things...

I'm looking for something to use for a trailer I'm thinking of making (for anyone who's interested, it's my idea of the Doctor Who Time War). I've been trying to find a piece of music that is about 1 to 2 minutes long, preferably classical or at least instrumental with no vocals that are actually words. As I said in the subject line, 'apocalyptic' is the adjective I was thinking of; something loud, awe-inspiring, and hopefully scary. Just as an example, the kind of piece I'd like to get hold of would be something like Klaus Badelt/Hans Zimmer's music in the Pirates 3 trailer (which can be viewed at various places round the net).

Suggestions? Anything would be helpful - thank you!

You need some post-rock... try taking a sample from a band like Godspeed, or if its a classical influence you're after try the song 'Kyoto' by the band Anoice.

O Fortuna! is generally the standard for apocalyptic music.

Other than that some good old Christian Industrial inspired by the Torah would help a lot so try Saviour Machine - Behold a Pale Horse. That is worth a listen even if its not what you want, industrial music, operatic singer.

Try a song from Requiem For A Dream. Or you could chop up a Godspeed song to whatever length you'd like and use that.

It is a part of the Carmina Burana suite, and composed by a German named Carl Orff. It and "Dies Irae" in Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem are two common choral choices. "Mars, the Bringer of War" by Gustav Holst, part of The Planets Suite, is another classical piece that comes to mind. It's about 6 minutes long, but doesn't mean he couldn't edit out a 2 minute section of it.
