Elton John, the Greatest?

Would Elton John be one of the, or the best ever atrist in Music History??

Prove me wrong...

I don't think he'd be either of those. I can't actually name one person with any discernible talent that's been influenced by Elton John, and now he's doing duets with boybands to boost his flagging popularity.

Kind of hard if you don't take a stance on the issue...but he's not.

Elton john might have been good, but a lot of people were better than him. It's all in the taste but personaly, I preffer Phil Collins.. Disney songs :D

wheres the proof or evidence that he is?

Oh Would Ya 09-19-2004 07:56 PM

Wheres the proof that he is?? Are you Crazy?..
* Nearly all of his albums have been to No.1 on the Charts
* His album 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' is probably the greatest album of all time, and that debut at No.1 before it was even released.
* He has had the record for selling a single in a week... sold over 150 million copies in a week.
* And he has had the biggest solo concert of all time.. over 400,000 people at Central Park in New York

I can go on all day...

^ one of those is just your opinion, and you can't label any musician the greatest, because everyone has different tastes, so please do not go on all day, just stop now.

relax guy. i was just saying that you asked to be proved wrong about your opinions without supporting them.
