Harry Nilson, although the cover version is probably Mariah's best track. I said probably.

But the Mariah version is a faithful rendition. She does have a good voice, or at least she used to until the mid-90s.

Mariah Carey destroys any song she warbles on. The woman has a fantastic vocal range. Unfotunately, I do not want to hear it on every release.

I don't disagree with you. Like, I said, her older stuff is better.
