I will second Bowie because I can't pick just one.

I don't believe there's a correct answer as to who is best. There are only favorites.

It just isn't practical to compare different musicians in different genres who play different instruments.

GravitySlips 07-27-2007 04:03 AM

Zappa, dude.

Inuzuka Skysword 07-27-2007 07:22 AM

Mozart. He was a musical genius for his time.

MHDTV 07-27-2007 04:29 PM

The greatest overall musical talent is probably Jimi Hendrix.

"After the release of 1994's The Ringmaster, ICP began to get a bit of attention as a possible follower of cartoon metal bands like Gwar and Green Jelly. Jive Records signed the group and released The Riddle Box in 1995, but the record bombed and ICP returned to the ranks of the indies."

Zeppelin is music to me. Without them all music would be pointless.

The Beatles were pointless?

Son of JayJamJah 07-31-2007 08:00 PM

You know what I mean.

Without a first place does second, third so on really matter.

It's not a knock, just a statement on how much I enjoy the guys who made the shark story reality.

I didn't know what you meant. There are a lot of crazy people on these forums who would say something like that with the meaning literal.

Uh, duh..because then they'd become first and second.

Son of JayJamJah 07-31-2007 09:58 PM

No, no, no

It's a Larry Bird quote on why greatness is important..."without me there'd be no second place"
