To me, Sawyer Brown is the most underrated band.

God bless you and each past and present member always!!!

P.S. As for who I think is overrated, there are way too many acts out there to name.

Overrated means popularity exceeds or not proportional to talent? Does influence count for anything?

I'm going with MC5 for overrated. They are often mentioned on 'best of' or 'influential' lists for punk or garage bands. I've never seen a band get more mileage out of one great song. Honorable mention to Nirvana and Bruce Springsteen.

Underrated...I'll go with guitarist Bill Nelson.

I pray that American Idol singer John Foster never falls into the under rated category. To me, he only gets better the more that I hear him.

God bless you and him always!!!

Dave Grohl and Eric Clapton are two painfully overrated musicians in rock history.

Agree, especially about Clapton. So many other guitar players are better than him.

to me i think billie eilish is really overrated, i know its been said a thousand times but its not that i think her musics bad. i just really dont see anything that special in her music to be incredibly popular.

underrated for me is kent. it might seem like im saying this just because theyre my favorite band, but ill give reasons. i think kent could be REALLY big across the world, maybe not too big but pretty well known. i think the thing stopping this is the fact that they sing in swedish which automatically kind of makes them exclusive to sweden. though they are very popular in sweden, its a band everyone knows and has a cult following here but i think they deserve more recognition worldwide.
