Who is the best female lead singer?

Do you prefer the hardcore slurred speech of Hole's Courtney Love
Or the beautiful vocals and unique lyrics of Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon

Either way there are tons of them. Which one is the best. Is she famous? What band? And on a scale of 1-10 how hot is she?

I hate how every thread about female singers has to discuss how hot the vocalist is.

PJ Harvey. She's my favourite a lot of things.

Jenn Ghetto, Vashti Bunyan, Jenny Lewis, Avril Lavigne, Linda Perhacs, Tegan and Sara.

The girl from Metric. She did an amazing cover of Between The Bars. And because it matters, she's sexy.

Yeah Emily Haines<3 and that reminds me I need to add Amy Milan to my list.

Jenny Lewis is a sperm dumpster.
