That same show I talked to Madeline saw Wolverines, Tarantuloco, The Breathing, Ships, Gator Country, Elf-Owl who drew my cdr cover in front of me while people across the street from a church were yelling at us about towing cars, The Max-Levine Ensemble, Feed This End and like a bunch of other good stuff. It was the hottest day of the summer, small crowded room and no ac for the win. But they gave away free food and water so that was cool.

I havent heard one of those bands...:(

Oh man, terrible concert tales time:

I'd been excited for the Tera Melos/Portugal. The Man/The Fall of Troy tour for a while, and on the night of the even my printer wasn't working (I had those Ticketmaster printout ones). So I call the friend I was going with and ask her to print out the tickets for me, no problem, right? So I go have dinner before I head over to the show, and in the middle of it my friend calls me and tells me that another friend of ours (one who I didn't particularly like) also wanted to go, but couldn't get a ticket because the show was sold out. She also said that there would be a small amount of tickets at the door, and wanted to know if they should try and buy one. So I wasn't really thinking about it and basically told her to try if she wanted to, but that they probably wouldn't be able to get a ticket.

So of course they get there and they couldn't get a ticket for friend #3 (a friend, I might add, who didn't even like the bands that were playing, and just wanted something to do on a Saturday night), but at this point I wasn't at the venue and THEY HAD MY TICKETS. So they call me back and friend 3 pretty much begged me to let her have my ticket and she promised to pay me back. Of course I was pissed, but they were already there when they show was about to start and there was really nothing I could do. So they went, and afterwards had the nerve to tell me that they didn't even ****ing enjoy it.

And to make matters worse, that bitch never paid me back. AND, this is the WORST PART OF THE ENTIRE ****ING STORY. Another friend of mine said she might be going with a friend of hers because it was his birthday. So she got all the way to the venue before she decided she wasn't going to go (she had told me earlier on in the day that she wasn't going to go, but apparently changed her mind again), and so her friend had to sell the extra ticket. The next day I asked my "friends" (who I don't even talk to anymore if anyone was wondering) if they were sure that no one was selling tickets out front, and they said that there was one guy that they had noticed, and I asked them what he looked like, and they described the ****ing guy perfectly. I was so angry at them I basically ended our friendship (things like this had happened before, they were just plain ****ty friends).

I think my best gig was probably RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS in 1989. They played a club with a capacity of 800, and the place was fúcking buzzing. Stagediving was allowed too. They played for well over two hours and were tighter than a virgin's rusty sheriffs badge. Great gig.
