I think if you're going to reference a specific 70s movie poster with your typography, you should do a little more than just slap it above a ho-hum illustration.

October Language by Belong

I know ive likely rambled about this one in the past, but it deserves more talk than it does. My Bloody Valentine meets William Basinksi and it stacks up well to both.

This album is heartbreaking - something I knew nothing about. The slow but acute crumbling of everything, I guess. I've always loved it, but now I need it.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

U.S. Girls - Half Free. Goddamn is this album fun. It's woozy and cool and everything you want out of modern psychedelic pop/indie rock. Definite repeater.

Kathleen Edwards - Failer. Classically country album sans twang. I like her storytelling, and her hooks are lovely.

The Kinks - Are the Village Green Preservation Society. I definitely downloaded this 100% because of Wes Anderson. End half of this album is kinda like "what the hell come on guys please", but the first half is classic 60s pop rock toe-tappers.

Various Artists - Las Vegas Grind: Volume Four

I've got Volume's 3, 4, 5 and 6 queued up on Spotify. Nice mix of stuff from Cabaret, Rock & Roll, Garage and other genres. Like.

Not sure why but I seem to like post-punk from 2010 on more than any other period. This album rules.

Give me some good post-punk to listen to. I don't really like Joy Division, and the only stuff I truly love is Ceremony, Television, and Viet Cong.
