I wouldn't use horrible train wreck but it certainly was their most forgettable. I just couldn't be bothered with giving it a second listen. Nope.

King Gizzard in a nutshell. I'd love to see them live though.

Did you listen to Sketches? Really really really good and re-listenable.

I thought it was good but not really anything to return to. Overall they just lack replay value even though they're fun the first go around.

I can respect that. There's really only three albums I can go back to which is Sketches, FMB, and I'm Your Mind Fuzz. Everything else just gets monotonous.

You're wrong though.

Nonagon Infinity has some wow factor going on but yeah, it gets pretty old pretty quick.

Chaotic, frenzied punk from the frostbitten landscapes of Iceland. The way they play with dissonance brings their black metal contemporaries to mind, but with a distinctly aggressive punk attitude, desperate howls and really creative percussion. Massively underrated.

World Narcosis, out of the canon of Icelandic bands marking their position in extreme music, seems to be the most interesting. Their compositions genuinely convey a feeling of unease and worry about something. I can’t help but feel the influence of their culture in their music and feel that they carry a lot of concern and respect for it.
