That's all I've been hearing these days. Well I had Sandinista! for more than 4 months, I still don't get I still haven't checked it out. I think I'm going to listen to it surely this week or the week after. Wait for the verdict =P

That's a great album. I haven't really been able to get into XTC though.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Portishead S/T

May not be as good as Third (still undecided on this issue) but i do think it's better than Dummy. It's darker, more oppressive and more macabre, the sound of something creeping along a dark attic in the dead of night.

Download - Microscopic EP (1996)

Damn I miss early Download. This is so awesome. A remix EP, though not in the sense that it's more techno/dancey...it's just different interpretations of the songs. Just as twisted as the originals. Some quite ambient, in fact.

I just discovered that School of Seven Bells released a deluxe edition of Alpinisms with a new song and 9 new versions of songs from the album! For some reason every time I put this on I get carried away, the music connects with me more than just about anything I've heard. And now I have 10 new tracks to explore They're good too.

Give it time and it'll bloom into one of your favourite releases this year. Genuinely deserves all the hype it gets.
