I personally liked Figure 8, thought that it was a really enjoyable pop record.

False Hopes was an incredible EP so I've been waiting for this for a while. For some reason 'Alibi' wouldn't extract, so this isn't a complete copy. But I knew I would love it and I do. Child's Play is an incredible opener. Doomtree is really pouring out stellar releases at the moment.

Heard my mother with her friends,
Worry it was something she did,
To get such a serious kid.

Roky Erickson - All That May Do My Rhyme

Roky has a new album set for release on April 20th, his first album of original songs in 14 years. It should be interesting.

For some reason I like the Regina Spektor album "Far" a lot. Not one of my favorites from 2009, but still a really nice record.
