Well, it's described as progressive rock, but the vocals on it (the female one especially) is just simply gorgeous. And the music is top notch. Check this just random track out:

I'm sitting back listening to it now. I really just need something like this for one in the morning.

I still liked This My Truth Tell Me Yours, it was okay, just a little boring. Though you're absolutely right about them becoming soft and losing their edge. The Holy Bible is something they will never come close to again. EVER.

I liked TiMT but not really now. They did certainly lose their edge after The Holy Bible but there are a couple of good records since that one. THB is one of my favourite records, i love very nearly every little thing about it. My avatar used to be Richey Edwards holding his hand to his temple like a gun. I think its very nearly flawless.

That being said though, Lifeblood is a terrific album. It couldn't be any different in comparison but it's beautiful. I like that they took a risk with it and went in another direction and i think they got it right.

Journal for Plague Lovers is another great album and the closest the band have ever and will ever come to The Holy Bible.

I haven't had the chance to check out Lifeblood yet, I think I'll do myself a huge favour and heed your advice

I hope you like it. It's nothing like The Holy Bible. The aggression and the darkness is replaced by piano's and harmonica's but it really is a very strong record i think.

Menomena- Mines

Really interesting stuff, love the instrumentals there is so much going on with the horns and guitars and drums but it is all put together so well. Love the vocals too.

Most were under 18 with the drummer being 14- yes 14! Awesome album and one of THE classic Thrash albums.
