It's Spirit's debut self-titled that was released in 1968. Fantastic psychedelic/early prog album.

JUdas Priest - Sin After Sin

Probably the high-point of their career - nary a bad song and the best cover all around - Peter Green's The Green Manalishi (with the Two-Pronged Crown)

Suishou no Fune - self-titled

Think long, drawn out post-rock/ambient jams melded with spontaneous (yet temporary) noise freakouts and distant, echoing, lonely Japanese vox. It's a psychedelic album that certainly requires a special mood, but it's definitely in the top 5 'loneliest' albums I've ever heard. It's like if Les Rallizes Denudes turned their distorted monstrosities into somber hymns. I wrote a review about it a while back.

I've been meaning to check this out, since I keep getting Lucinda Williams updates on Facebook about it. Hopefully I can find it online.

Bulldog...what other Lucinda Williams albums can you recommend? The only album of hers that I own is "Essence", which I like quite a bit. I'd love to check out whatever album you think is her best.

The Burning Paris - Half-Truths & Indiscretions (The Anthology)

They remind me of Carissa's Wierd, so naturally I'd like them. Though they're more on the Post Rock side of things.. but I can't have it all.

Awesome album! I was on a Spirit rampage last week, played the first 4 albums about 3 times each. Very solid material, too bad so few seem to know about them.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Creatures by Motionless In White.
Abigail is easily the best track on this album. This is a really solid metalcore album with some awesome vocals. Aw yeah. I give it a 8.75/10.

Digital Veil by The Human Abstract.
I freaking love this album. I don't know. It's just so epic.

Really digging the latter part of "The Gates of Delirium"... spacy and psychedelic without losing my interest or feeling overly self-indulgent

Yea, I was a bit disappointed with their popularity as well. They really were a great band.
