This album is simply not capable of aging. It's off in it's own little time and place which brings back nostalgic memories to the most aprehensive listeners.

Definitely the best BOC album thus far. I'd say the Campfire Headphase is pretty close, but people don't seem to like that one for some reason.

I fail to understand that, Campfire Headphase for me is on a par with Music has the Right to Children, I even prefer it on occasions.

You and me both. I find Dayvan Cowboy to be one of the most relaxing songs ever conceived.

Just got the Smashing Pumpkins reissues for Christmas. Attempting to be as unbiased as I possibly can...I have to say these are some of the best remasters I've heard from anyone. Especially Gish. The bonus discs are great - especially for a die hard Pumpkins fanatic like me. The DVDs are just what I needed, too. There has been a curious lack of officially released live material...especially from their classic era. The Gish concert is a little rough, but enjoyable. The Siamese Dream concert is the tits. I am happy.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Murder Ballads (1996)

Not the best in his discography, but easily his darkest album and one of the most tortured sounding. Basically it has everything people like about Nick Cave, but he really does let himself go a little in the lyrics, especially on the song "O'Malley's Bar", just hear for yourself.

Talk Talk - Laughing Stock (1991)
Finally got around to listening to Laughing Stock and Spirit of Eden by Talk Talk. Laughing Stock stands out a little bit more to me. I love the sparse, ambient production on this album, slightly jazzy undertones and soulful vocals. It's such a beautiful-sounding album and seems to occupy a rare place in music along with Hex by Bark Psychosis.

Only half through this yet, but every song has been brilliant so far. A better psych pop album than the Beatles ever wrote, in my opinion. Some of the loveliest chord changes I've ever heard from the 60s.

Hands down my favorite psych record of the 60's. I got this sucker on vinyl. It's a shame they didn't do much else. Well, much else that's worthwhile, anyway.
