3) Paul McCartney - Memory Almost Full

I picked up this CD in a cheapy shop for £2 ( couldn't beleive my luck ) because although I was slightly worried that it might have been a weak album, it turned out to be an amazing CD. I would go as far to say that this album is better than some of Pauls albums with the Beatles.

2) Editors - An End Has A Start.

At first, I thought Editors were nothing more than an over blown Joy Division immitation, but after I bought this album I've realised, That really isn't a bad thing. When its big, its epic, when it tries to be tender it misses the mark, but the big moments are really worth listening for. Loving this album right now.

1) Carpenters - Carpenters

Its strange.. But this album has just touched me recently. Its all so delicate and charming, and the melodies and harmonies are beautiful. I've never heard anything like it before really. I was searching for music that sounds just like this CD and I found it.

Brian Eno - here comes the warm jets
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...DL._AA240_.jpg
Brian Eno's first album after he left Roxy Music. It has most of roxy music along with robert fripp and john wetton of King Crimson. Very interesting album. Early glam rock feel with a lot of electronics. If you like eno, this will be your favorite.
landing - seasons

new-gaze? lots of dreamy delayed guitar and soft vocals. Good to sleep to and I don't mean that in a bad way.
pit er pat - shakey

Reminds me of a baltimore band. indie/jazz kinda deal. reminds me of fiery furnaces if they played serious music.

black dice - load blown

If you can get through the whole video and like it, please get ahold of me. We are a small minority haha.

yume bitsu - the golden vessel of sound

I just found out about this album. Electronic shoegaze. They're like a softer m83 with more of that dreamy delay guitar.

Shostakovich is awesome. ;)

Autechre - Chiastic Slide: This is sparking my interest in ambient electronica.

... Continued with many albums since I haven't posted in this thread in a while.

Squarepusher - Hard Normal Daddy: Interesting mix of drum 'n' bass and jazz.

Rachmaninoff - Piano Concertos: I didn't know much about this guy before re-entering my classical phase. He's now one of my favourite composers.

Erik Satie: Very nice minimalist style.
