I've never heard Fasciinatiion but I agree with you on the other two being better than Wet From Birth which is still good.

Downright gorgeous! Nice and dreamy and well.. the only downside may be that the songs are quite short (all falling in the 2 minute range). But I think I prefer songs that are too short versus ones that are too long.

Very much enjoying me some Augie March... particularly their most recent album "Watch Me Disappear"... a darn fine recording to add to their legacy, I say!

I was kind of surprised by how good Fasciinatiion was when I got it. Stylistically I'd describe it as pretty much a 50/50 mix of Danse Macabre and Blank-Wave Arcade.

Well at least we can probably agree that they're all better than Media.

Had a good night of listening so far, going over a few albums I haven't played in some time....

Watch Me Disappear - Augie March
Reading,Writing and Arithmetic - The Sundays
Circlework - GB3

And, hmmm, maybe to finish up the night's listening, it might be time for some Crowded House, probably the new and rather awesome Intriguer album...

First time checking this guy out, and very pleased! I think it was a last.fm recommendation. Quite smooth and warm instrumental hip-hop/downtempo/glitch. If you like Prefuse 73, Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing, and everything in between, you'll dig. Lots of cool sounds and vocal samples. There are some very smooth mellow parts and then more exciting crunchy tracks...yeah. Very mellow affair overall, and it seemed like the perfect length.

Kraftwerk - Die Mensch Maschine

While I'll admit that in 2010 "The Robots" sounds incredibly corny, it still doesn't sound dated, and neither does any other song on the album. It's kind of surprising considering how well this holds up considering the fact that it's been aped so furiously over the past 30+ years.
