Say Hi - Um, Uh Oh http://img573.imageshack.us/img573/8...16779cover.jpg I am admittedly biased going into this album because I love everything Eric does...but still it's a great pop album with really interesting atmospheric instrumentals and good lyrics...business as usual really. |

http://www.residentadvisor.net/image...on-with-be.jpg Underworld - Oblivion With Bells I listened to dubnobasswithmyheadman a while back and loved it...but this is just...wow. Amazing electronic. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5flo5SmVx-...eppermints.jpg Strawberry Alarm Clock - Incense and Peppermints Another 60's psych gem. Nothing too radical, but there's a lot of catchy stuff going on here. |

Sven Weisemann at it again creating some amazing ghostlike 2 step. If you like Burial, don't even think about getting it. Just get it. http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/8...1coverbeta.jpg |

Well, it's been a while since I have posted something here, but let's see, what albums are currently on my hit list... Dark Tranquility - We Are the Void R.E.M - Accelerate (ramping up for the new album - comes soon!) Midnight Oil - Redneck Wonderland (gotta love this one, still relevant today after 14 years.... love it!) The Church - Untitled # 23 (best album I've heard in years, literally... no one makes them as good as these guys...) |

Hmn, speaking of excellent jazz releases- http://www.israbox.com/uploads/posts...1160_cover.jpg 2010 was something of a scarce year for real ear-opening jazz releases that weren't crazy avant-garde, but this was a real wonderful find for me last Halloween. Soundwise, there are numerous nods to Miles Davis circa In A Silent Way and some of Pharaohs Sanders output, but een a casual listener can tell that this record still possesses quite a bit of personality all it's own. I'm looking forward to more from this bunch! |

http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/...-high-life.jpg I am absolutely loving this. I cannot recommend it highly enough, actually. Superb drumming, although the mixing on bits is a little off for the highs...but my goodness. Brilliant record. |
