I've been listening to a lot of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy since getting it. And when I say a lot, I mean I practically listen to nothing else. I never thought Kanye could go uphill after a couple of below par albums, but he proved me wrong.

This album is seriously ****ing awesome. I downloaded it in the summer and never really got into it too much, but now I'm hooked on this band's sound. Probably my favorite thing I've listened too this year.

Íon - Immaculada (2010)
The neo-folk solo project of Duncan Patterson, one-time bassist in Liverpool doom metallers Anathema. There is a great mixture Celtic influences and use of traditional instrumentation along with some Mediterranean influences giving the whole album a bit of an international feel. The mood of the album ranges from an almost darkwave feel to sometimes uplifting and spiritual. He uses a variety of female guest vocalists on some of the songs and they really bring the album to life and make for a really relaxed and beautiful album.

Great video for this song as well.

I quite liked it too, but by god was it ever longer than it needed to be.
