I'm holding onto Hybrid Theory forever!

They will one day go back to their roots and please their fans that have been with them from the beginning.

Europa (1982)

It's an experimental/synth-pop album by a Belgian called Pseudo Code. The general composition is very minimalistic, and the vocalist's "singing" reminds me a lot of Genesis P-Orridge's. I plan on looking into more of their work in the future. (I highly recommend album to those who enjoy synth-punk/pop or industrial music).

^^That's another band I prepared for the minimal synth compilation I'm working on (have you been lurking my last.fm? just kidding )

Belgium had a very busy scene in the early 80s. You also had musicians from USA moving there like Tuxedomoon and Minimal Man for example. This Pseudo Code is one of the projects of Alain Neffe. The other two that I know of are less accessible. Bene Gesserit is totally crazy, quirky band and Human Flesh is more like industrial, dark ambient. I actually thought of suggesting one of these two for the album club, but can't make up my mind which one.

I've heard a bit of Minimal Man and Tuxedomoon, but not the other two. Minimal Man is actually on my list to check out -- although, Tuxedomoon didn't really appeal to me that much.

Tuxedomoon changed their sound through the years, so I don't know what you've heard. Minimal Man's first album is great. Actually that's what I'm gonna suggest for the album club. Bene Gesserit is also on my comp. which I should have already posted. Still playing with the order of songs, fucking perfectionist. I have to finish it as soon as possible.

What other bands/musicians are on the compilation?
