Great album. Face-lift I think is better though.

Joey Purp - iiiDrops

Can't believe how much I'm enjoying this project considering how much I disliked his previous releases. By no means is he a top tier lyricist, but he can carry his own and the beat selection is fantastic, lots of awesome horns and saxes thanks to the jazz rap influence, while also still dabbling in the popular Chicago sound. The impact from the rest of SAVEMONEY (Chance the Rapper & Vic Mensa in particular) is definitely thorough on this too.

Two awesome power-pop records.

Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Denial
Spoiler for Huge image incoming:

This guy proves yet again just how good he is at writing at incredibly catchy rock tunes that seem to be quite heavily inspired by early Weezer. The more I listen to this, the closer it gets to cracking my top ten for the year.

Tacocat - Lost Time

It was in bob.'s top 10, so I knew it was going to be great, and surprise surprise, it completely delivered. Dana Katherine Scully is among the best songs I've heard this year, and it doesn't stop there, tracks like I Love Seattle and Horse Grrls are equally awesome, this is a must hear.
