Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady

I started tearing up... during an instrumental album. I never in my journey through music have found something this moving, like... holy **** it's just so good.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Coma Cluster Void - Mind Cemeteries

Cryptopsy meets Gorguts. Whatever you're imagining isn't 1/8 as amazing as this album is. This is an instant technical death metal classic. Get on this ****. If the new Ulcerate is as good as this album, it's going to be one of the best years for metal in history.

I dunno. I can imagine some pretty freaky stuff.

Pure and fuzzy production, total stoner attitude, and awesome riffing and atmosphere.

Click the CCV album cover and see for yourself.

Orange Goblin is a long time favourite of mine, nice choice.

Thank you, sir.

I can see why you like it, but I still prefer Symbolic. As far as death metal goes, CCV's actually surprisingly complex and creative beyond its noisy and aggrevatingly chaotic front.

They don't call it technical death metal for nothing. While Symbolic is fantastic and my favourite Death album, I prefer the more extreme and unique style of Mind Cemeteries.

Technical death metal = best death metal. Of course combining it with the brutal side makes for something great as well. I'm not much of a brutal DM fan when its alone.

Modern technical brutal death metal is the worst thing to ever happen to death metal. Most boring DM sub-genre ever.

Too bad my family would call me crazy if I said that CCV album was any good. They'd say I'm acting like a pretentious critic again.

Too be honest, I may aspire to be a critic, but they really shouldn't put me on the same level of Good Burger and Kung Pow haters. There are only two things I "side" with the critics on, and those are the first two Spy Kids movies.
