Goldie - Saturnz Return

I really can't get enough of this album at the moment. One of those preciously rare albums that's just as capable of really freaking you out one minute and getting you desperate to hit the nearest club the next.

Morphine are great. I love their sound. Most albums have a very natural live/ one take sound to them. Karate are similar minus the Sax player as they have a natural sound too.

Yeah, they were a fantastic live band. I saw them (and Twinemen) several times.

Never heard of Karate, I'll have to give them a listen.

The Doors - S/T is as great a place to start as any. I would say either that one or Morrison Hotel.
