Alright guys, I'm going to start ordering this list and then I'll post the order and we'll debate and rearrange it. I'll try and have it up by the weekend.

EVOL by Sonic Youth is better than about 80% of that list, and yet it's removed. Strange.

I thought Crazy Rhythms came out in '90?

And Moss Icon-Lybernum. So influential and good. To me it's the clear shift from a melodic hardcore displayed with Rites of Spring, Embrace and Dag Nasty to clear definitive genre of emo.

Added and Crazy Rhythms came out in 1980, I'll start organizing this list when school work quits raping me.

I definitely agree with this one, nice choice.

After this is done, wouldn't it be cool to do something like this for the 60s? Personally I've never seen a 60s list that I liked before.

sleepy jack 01-16-2008 03:44 PM

I plan to do one for each decade.

Didn't Pitchfork do some kind of list about the 60's?

sleepy jack 01-16-2008 08:56 PM

Yeah and it probably sucks.
