I expected this song to belong in the "anti-love song" thread based on the lyrics, but the actual song sounds so happy and peppy that I think it belongs right here where you put it, Zaqarbal!

I loved the following love song, "You are my Sunshine," when I was a child. I often sang this song for my cat, Sunshine, especially when she ran away for 3 days and I thought she'd never return! :( Finally, on the third night of her absence as I was standing on the front walk hopelessly calling for her, she emerged from the woods across the street and trotted, meowing, toward me. That was one of the happiest moments in my life! :)

I always think of this song fondly since it reminds me of Sunny, a dear friend who was my first deep love:
