i think some spammer said Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon before it got deleted

i don't "get" that album as well

my fave PF period is after Saucerful and pre-Dark Side

lotsa experimentation and so many different facets of the band

I've heard other PF fans say the same thing. I disagree though. This is not always true of most bands; but I believe their most popular and best-selling albums truly are their best - Meddle, Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, The Wall.

Anything by slipknot or Insane Clown Posse really... I have absolutely no explanation as why any human... let alone monkey or dog would enjoy it. Nothing about it is intelligent...

ug... The purpose of this thread is to post popular albums that you don't understand, not bash generically hated bands.

I really like this album because of how emotional it is. Definitely depressing and I don't care too much for the lyrics but I think the instrumentals are beautiful. I can get into it on a rainy day, for sure.

Slint - Spiderland (1991)

Okay, so it might have been one of the earliest post-hardcore albums, but there are so many betters, like Polvo's Today's Active Lifestyles (1993). Not only is it excessively dry, but it never really reaches an apex, it just slides downhill from noisy ambiguity to noisy ambiguity.

Definitely an album I found myself very disappointed with once I decided to see what all the hype was about.

I know almost everyone on here hates U2, but in my opinion Joshua Tree is pretty fantastic. There's a reason why nearly every song on it was a single.

Contrary to the earlier post I find side 2 to be the best of Joshua Tree. Running to standstill, Trip through your wires and Exit are awesome songs with some deep lyrics and emotion. Definitely one of U2's best offerings.
