It did come out as an inbetween EP between Pablo Honey and The Bends though.
I'd say its a little similar to Pablo Honey, although there's still a fair amount of progression in their sound there.

Roll With It by Oasis on (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, it sounds like a filler track but they had the nerve to release it as a single. No wonder Blur won "The Battle of Britpop", with Country House.

I'd have Roll With It over Country House any day. Both horrible though.

I like My Iron Lung, it's got a lot going on. The only song I don't like of The Bends is Bones.

you're out of your ****ing mind Roll With It has some of the worst lyrics Noel Gallagher has ever produced it sounds like he wrote them in the car before they got to the studio. Country House is a far better song better lyrically and musically. Noel himself even said it was one of their worst songs.

so let's compare crap

to gold

I really can't be bothered to stick up for Roll With It, but Country House is just another example of thse horrible 'wacky' songs that were doing the rounds in the 90's. Like Supergrass - Alright its one of those stupid songs that needs to be erased of the planet. I really don't see much difference between songs like these and the Vengaboys, they're all bloody annoying.
Common People all the way.
