What's this? Two of MB's biggest M.I.A.'s posting in the same day? You've got some 'esplaining to do.

Well Dac and I actually ran into each other at a hip vintage shop in an obscure downtown in an obscure state. We proceed to buy some hip vintage sunglasses and air guitar along to Back in Black by AC/DC - which is a totally gay song, but we were being ironic. Needless to say, the only progression from there was to start posting on an internet message board we both disappeared from. It's post-modern.

Often depends on my mood, but in a desert island disc scenario, I'd have to pick OK Computer.

I wish he had more to say about his / her favorite band though... this board needs a fire lit under it, and I'm too lazy...

The best I have got is to ask everyone what they hope this next album will sound like...

For me personally, I am hoping for a similar flow and feel to In Rainbows, but with a few "harder" edged songs, all that wispy elegance can only go so far, ya know... also I wouldn't mind a little more electronic weirdness and experimentation to come back into the mix... that would be kinda cool. Thoughts, anyone?

I'd like something in the essence of Kid A. Not by any means a xerox or 'dedicated to', but something that captures that unsettling, dark tone. Radiohead proved they could master it, and I'd love to see if they could throw that into a completely different medium.

For example, if they could capture that utter despair and hopeless feeling of "Kid A" or "How to Disappear Completely" into a song that sounds completely different, I'd be sold. I think it's something they could easily do, too. But I'm sure they could be well-off with something completely different...

Jesus Christ reading over my own posts makes me realize how uncomfortable my diction is.

A deserted island situation would call for at least two Radiohead albums for me... Kid A with a copy of OK Computer hidden behind the removeable part of the jewel case...
