What are the best sites out there to find new music that doesn't suck? :hphones:
I like, of course, Last.fm I also LOVE Pandora |
Rateyourmusic is a good site for making lists and stuff.

Of course myspace is always a good one for looking up bands and finding out show dates.

i like the ones with people being violated by farmyard animals. you couldn't really hear the music though

theres always lots of good sites, they come and go some legal some not. the ones that are legal stay the ones that arnt fold, now take a look below click a link and your set. ltos of music soon at your finger tips for download.

Due to my crappy Internet connection, I pretty much stick to this forum and a number of artist-specific forums.

I just decided to give rateyourmusic another try, and actually complete entering my collection. (For some reason I stopped adding to it last year - now I'm starting from scratch.) It's the one site (aside from a few cliquish message boards) where I've met people with similar taste and gotten good recommendations. I've also made some great trades, and the place is heaven if you love lists.
I've never tried their forum, though. Any opinions? |
I can't stand the layout of their message board to be honest. I posted a few times on it it never amounted to much, not enough discussion me thinks.
