All five bands are great, but I think I'll have to go with the Ozrics on this one. Nick Drake would be my next choice.

By far the hardest poll yet. Ozrics though.

Dammit, I want to vote for Ozric Tentacles so much. But between them and The Flaming Lips? God, tough one.

Flaming Lips have Indie cred, so they will obviously get the most votes, and I want Ozric to at least win second place, they have my vote.

This was terribly hard. I went with Ozric Tentacles but almost went with The Cure. I like Nick Drake, but he's not retardedly amazing like The Cure or Ozric Tentacles. The Velvet Underground were very hit and miss but when they were on they were on, but not consistent enough to get my vote.

but I thought innovation and originality trumped everything????
