Nice choice with The Kinks, although I would have to pick Picture Book, considering the main riff from that song has already been stolen by both Greenday and Steriogram.

Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana

Basically when I was 9 years old and heard this song on tv, I was like "wow, wtf is that, I never anything like it" and till this day when that music pops up in my ipod shuffle, I still love that song, which I could of come up with it
