Exclamation Graphic Equilizers

Hey just wondering if anyone has some good advice about graphics equalizers settings for rock, country, techno etc.... and how to know what works best

until now i've been going mainly by trial and error any suggestions helpful

Rock: Usually more bass and treble.
Techno: Similar to rock, but more value to each frequency.
Country: More midrange, and and cut off at high and low frequencies.

Usually it's what works best for you.
