From Wiki: "This album followed the success of Sugar Ray's 1997 single "Fly". The album's title was created in response to some who thought that Sugar Ray was a one-hit wonder band, implying its "fifteen minutes of fame" was not over yet."

Little did they know...

I could write quite a bit regarding the Smiths and Morrissey covers about, and i probably will.

Before Morrissey went solo and decided to use himself as the subject of his covers, Smiths covers would for the most part be a place for them to show off their influences and other icons.
The woman here is Shelagh Delaney, probably one of the most important influences on Morrissey. She was a Manchester playwriter who had the first play (which she amazingly wrote when she was only 19) premiered in the late 50's. It was called A Taste of Honey, and Moz famously nicked a fair few lines from it.

Just like Moz she was an image of a working class intellectual wanting to break free, and it's pictured beautifully here. I love this cover.

From what I heard, this guy took 50 bucks a "shot" for this cover. (Couldn't find a source, sorry.)

By the angles I would say that that cover is staged.

Yeah like I said it's from what I heard. I was looking all over for a source but there is this book by the same name so it's like lookin' for a needle in a haystack (to me).

An unusual situation where an album was released with two different album covers simultaneously.

Thw 2 major football codes in Australia are Australian football and Rugby League. EMI, the company who put together this compilation album thought that if they released the album and featured only one code of football on the cover, the fans of the other code would not buy the CD! So the decision was made to release 2 different covers.

From what I recall, the covers were not restricted to the areas of Australia where each code was popular. I live in a city where Rugby League is the most popular football code, but I was able to purchase the CD with the Australian football cover.

Now that's crazy.

Too bad it would still take us 42 years to get there even if we could travel at the speed of light...

It's staged, it's set up perfectly for a stage combat trick.
