Slayer's Reign In Blood is essential even if you don't like thrash. Definitely get that if you haven't already.

Try these-

Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
Metal Church - S/T
Celtic Frost - To Mega Therion
Flotsam & Jetsam - Doomsday for the Deceiver
Sacred Reich - Ignorance
Infernal Majesty - None Shall Defy
Exumer - Possessed By Fire
Artillery - By Inheritance

Mostly stuff outside the so called '4' but equally good.(if not better)

Genius is appreciated but I'm just an old bugger with a relatively good memory. I was waiting for a lot of my Thrash stuff to transfer from my old pc to my new one and that has now been done so expect a little run soon

For Alfred (Demonoid mentioned some good ones already) so also try these:

Death Angel-The Ultra Violence
Exodus-Bonded By Blood
Testament-The New Order
Coroner-Mental Vortex
Kreator-Extreme Aggression
Sepultura-Schizophrenia

...and the greatest Thrash album ever (as PMO stated) Reign In Blood.

For punk/Hardcore tinged Thrash try:

Nuclear Assault-Game Over
S.O.D- Speak English Or Die

And if you want diversify a little more try some crossover stuff:

D.R.I-Crossover
Crumbsuckers-Life Of Dreams
Agnostic Front-Cause For Alarm
Ludichrist-Immaculate Deception

I agree with Demonoid on this - get the Perfect Element I. Prog metal which isn't a complete chopsfest - and no egregious vocals either! In fact, I quite like Daniel Gildenlow.

Default need music recommendations

i was wondering if anyone knows of an artist that is a complete badass guitar player. i know there are A LOT out there, but i'm looking for someone-or-a group that just jams & plays. (i'm not looking for anything heavy metal.)

if you know who alvin lee is, then i'm looking for something along those lines..
blues is ok. im just looking for something with good guitar solos that are just crazy cool where they go off jamming. it doesn't have to be the fastest guitar player in the world or anything like that

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

example (this song is just badass):

youtube.com/watch?v=ijHA2BAguXI

Lose yourself in the quite brilliant Jeff Beck album Beck Ola.

Also try Mother Tongue's debut. They sound like the whole album is a jam.

You prefer The Perfect Element over BE as well? I think that BE blows it away.

Exclamation New Chillout club (NEED MUSIC IDEAS URGENTLY!)

This Friday 15th of August I am opening up a new Disco/Club. On the outside terrace I wanted to play some chillout music, but not just any ordinary chillout music, I want chillout musci that gets people moving in their seats, chillout musci that gets people wanting to move inside to the Disco where the music is blasting, what I don´t want is for my customers to start falling asleep!!!

So far I have listend to a few of the Chillout session albums from the ministry of sound but many of their songs are just to relaxing, as are the songs from café del mar.

Can anyone sugest and songs, albums, artists that I could play with the criteria that I am looking for?¿?¿?¿?

Any help would be much apreciated!!!

Cheers!:YEAH:
