I'm looking for Power Metal, a band that sounds more like 3 Inches of Blood, rather that DragonForce *shudders at the name*

Can anyone help?

Here's a few.

Guns N' Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Slash's Snakepit, Wasted Youth, Loaded, Camp Freddy, Neurotic Outsiders, DKFXP, Jane's Addiction.

Additionally, I'm beginning to get into jazz music. Instrumental jazz, preferably. Where's a good place to start?

Can anyone help?

Dragonforce has me thinking of those metal bands that always seem to want to tell stupid stories about medieval conflicts / wars and / or fantasies, along with wailing vocals.... kinda cringe inducing to these ears...

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Not exactly underground screamo, but you might like United Nations if you haven't already heard them.
