Some folk/world music with vocals like these two segments of a couple metal songs (below). I'm NOT looking for metal, just something with a similar vocal style to those parts of these songs.

goto 00:23

and especially 1:23 in this one

I'm in love this vocal style.

The Batlord 09-23-2017 11:17 AM

Supply deez nuts, bitch.

MicShazam 09-25-2017 03:54 AM

I'll just have to go and find some nuts myself.

The Batlord 09-25-2017 05:54 AM

Pretty sure there was a spammer.

MicShazam 09-25-2017 06:38 AM

That makes a bit more sense, even though I almost thought your post made sense in the current context.

The Batlord 09-25-2017 06:49 AM

Really? Confused the hell outta me.

MicShazam 09-25-2017 07:13 AM

I'm not going to explain it at this point.
Let it die an inglorious death and be forgotten.

Music Reccomendations

FIRST POST BOYS

To be honest, I was confused for about 10 minutes about how to even post something here. Anyways, I was looking for some pretty dynamic/ear-grabbing instrumental music, but nothing industrial-sounding. Any suggestions?

Hi, it said for the n00bs! I have been looking for this song but haven't been able to find it. I tried google and bing but it didn't work. I saw an ad on this channel, 'Freeform'. It was for their own programs. It was just a few days ago. I have not been able to find the ad online. There is a song playing in the background. There is a female voice saying "It's dangerous", then "I've been waiting for you to save me." Is there anyone who knows what this song is? Thank you!

I like the thing that Five Finger Death Punch does in some songs where they will have some screamy bits, and then some more melodic/talky bits. Does anyone have anything else like that? Or anything else that has their sort of sound, really.

You might like the singer's earlier band Motograter. Check out Flaw too.

TheCheetah 02-01-2018 02:45 PM

I'm looking for some young rock bands(i.e, bands whose members are 40 or younger), which put a lot of energy in their live shows. Something like what the RHCP or Aerosmith did when they were younger.

Frownland 02-06-2018 10:31 AM

I want rex

sylleryum 02-26-2018 07:57 AM

Hey folks,
Looking for sad mood musics, a ethereal way, with vocals, slow, have a haunting feeling, that makes you feel like alone in a forest at night, but i find it very hard to find it. I'm not really interested in the lyrics, I just want musics that are as the description above. Some examples:

Esben and the Witch - Marching Song

Esben and the Witch - The Fall of Glorieta Mountain

Sunn O))) & Boris - The Sinking Belle Blue Sheep

Lacrimosa - Darkness

Esben and the Witch - Swans

Dead Can Dance - The Carnival is Over

What I'm NOT looking for: Death in June - The Calling (Mk II)

The Cure - One Hundred Years

Thanks

EDIT: Just saw that you asked for vocals. These are instrumental but still stick to that vibe.
