Default Uptempo/positive folk-music

First of all this is my first post here, so I hope I am not posting in the wrong forum or anything like that.

I absolutely adore especially Beirut but also e.g. Sufjan Stevens and Detektivbyrån.

I am looking for some uptempo or at least positive sounding folk music, but I can't really find anything on my own. Can someone help me? Especially with accordions.

ANYTHING by a guy called The E.L.F... you may have to search around a bit... he used to be the lead singer of an Aussie group called Gerling, but his band is now on hiatus, and he is producing solo material... really cool sounding stuff with a bit of quirkiness to it.
