Be is actually my favorite too...but it would seem weird to jump onto that first. Something like ignoring all other pink floyd albums and listening to 'Animals' first.

So far I have listend to a few of the Chillout session albums from the ministry of sound but many of their songs are just to relaxing, as are the songs from café del mar.

Can anyone sugest and songs, albums, artists that I could play with the criteria that I am looking for?¿?¿?¿?

Any help would be much apreciated!!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin:

Various - Café Del Mar - Chillhouse Mix Vol. 2

this is not your typical cafe del mar-upbeat but chilled too.

or try some of the Hotel Costes mixes:

Amazon.com: Hotel Costes, Vol. 6: Stéphane Pompougnac: Music

They are more eclectic and feature a lot of ethnic music but I have them all and they are never less than entertaining:

I think those middle 3 albums are all pretty good and about evenly matched. But I reckon the Perfect Element is probably the best intro though.
