It's pretty disappointing. There's no particular ecclectism in the tracks, it's just simple pop song followed by simple pop song.

I had such high hopes for the Eels... I thought Blinking Lights was just ace, but alas, it seems the follow up sounds to be no so worth looking forward to...

I'm looking for songs that are similar to Incubus - Are You In!

In other words: chill rock music, funky drum rythm and groovy bassline!

I'll send you LuciDream's only album Choosing Madness. It's probably the closet thing to Incubus.

Default Ally Heman

She's Very similar to taylor swift, but she's just a little more folk and pop, she's my age but she's extremely talented and a youtube sensation.

Default Noticeably & unusually subdued/depressing/generally "blue" albums from bands/artists

Hello all!

I have a very odd request. In this thread I would be eternally grateful if people could list some albums (pop, rock, metal, ANY AND ALL GENRES!!) that, for the band/artist in question, are unusually somber and gloomy.

Some of my favourite ever albums over the years, I have recently realized, all fit into this theme:

Memorial Beach - a-ha
The Big Picture - Elton John
Human Being - Seal
Mezzanine - Massive Attack
Morning Star - Spear of Destiny
The Dark Ride - Helloween

Any suggestions made that could help me expand the above list would be greatly appreciated. I just love this sort of stuff.

Cheers.

^

Bob Dylan - Time Out Of Mind
The The - Mind Bomb
Elvis Costello - Mighty Like a Rose
Emmylou Harris - Wrecking Ball

Can't really think of anymore at the moment, but those are a few pretty gloomy albums. Not sure what you'd think of them judging by the albums you mentioned though
