The Pax Cecilia have another album out before Blessed but it's nowhere near as good as that. Brilliant album.

Also try:

Kayo Dot
Lvmen
Mouth Of The Architect
Shels
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum

Been listening to Minus the Bear, Mutemath, and Silversun Pickups recently, any recommendations similar to those would be appreciated.

Shoegaze isn't really my thing, so I wouldn't be the best person to ask. Mary Queen Of Scots by Eugenius is far and away my favourite such album though.

I'm looking for music similar to akira yamaoka, the silent hill composer

YouTube - Silent Hill - Tears Of... - Akira Yamaoka - *OFFICIAL FULL SONG!* - OST

YouTube - Akira Yamaoka - True

YouTube - FMV Silent Hill 2 I Want Love - Akira Yamaoka

I'm looking for something that gives the same sort of...isolated, alone feeling

How about something similar to Bjork, but a tad more conventional? Does such a thing exist?
