Default Looking for cover of "Black Butterfly" by Denise Williams

Does anyone know if there is an updated cover to the Denise Williams song, Black Butterfly? It's such a pretty song that it seems surprising to me that no one has covered it. I'm looking for a more modern sounding rendition.

Default Need a Music Suggestion

We have a retirement planning office, with a nice lobby, and a few nice conference rooms. We have clients in our office all the time, and we're adding a whole office music system that works with pandora.

I'm having a hard time creating a good station, and would love some suggestions. Here's the criteria for the music:

1. Our clients are all retired, so they're around 55-75 years old.
2. Our office is professional, but we're trying to create a more friendly, less stuffy environment. We want them to relax and think of our office as a place to start to enjoy retirement.
3. We have a slight beach theme going, so something beachy could be nice.
4. Our staff will listen to it all day, so it shouldn't be loud or jarring. Should be something that fades nicely into the background.
5. Probably no vocals. It seems to me harder to work or concentrate when someone is singing something.

That's a good start, I'm looking forward to your expert advice!

Vangelis does some lovely relaxing music, like this one from "Apocalypse des animaux" (the album is short, and mostly like this)

or Jean-Michel Jarre (there are boppier, more uptempo tracks on the album that your clientele might not prefer, but this is fairly sedate all the way through)

But one of my favourites for relaxing music is the organic melodies of a man called Gandalf, a composer from Austria

Also, if you check under "new age music", that's usually quite peaceful and instrumental, also "ambient" (but be sure to put in "slow" or "soft", as some ambient music can be quite jarring). Hope that helps a little.

Default Please help!

I NEED YOUR HELP! Yes you, maybe not you but at least one of you. I am in a box of music and I can't get out, I have a wide range of musical tastes but at the moment I just can't find anything that really hits me.

At the moment I am listening to softer stuff, eg: The Ting Tings, Sia Furler, Tides Of Man.

Look to be honest, I am open to suggestions I just need music.

Two years ago I fell in love for a swedish band (swedish-american, actually), Dag för Dag. Now I am interested in the swedish alt-rock/garage-rock scene (someone told me it's amazing). Any indication? Thank you.
