Try:

Undisputed Truth
Superfly soundtrack
Cane and Able

Good 70's Funk.

Give the Ohio Players a try as well. They've got some great tunes.

The closest thing I have to some hardcore is the 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster, who kinda mix it up with psychobilly a bit. I reckon you'd dig them. If you don't already have any of their stuff just let me know and I'll get a link your way.

Default I need suggestions

Hey everyone, I've been looking around on this site for awhile and final decided to post.

I have a good idea at what type of music I like (mostly alternative), but I'm having quite a bit of trouble discovering bands that interest me. I'll list some of my favorite bands so you all can get a rough idea at the type of music i enjoy.

First off, my favorite band of all time is Radiohead. I love them to death

Here are a few more

Animal Collective
Apples in Stereo
Arctic Monkeys
Beck
The Black Ghosts
The Black Keys --- Love them
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
The Bravery
Coldplay
Eels
Foo Fighters
Franz Ferdinand
The Kills
The Kooks
The Mars Volta
MGMT
Modest Mouse --- Love them
Placebo
The Raconteurs
Radiohead --- Favorite
Stars
The White Stripes

Thats all I can think of at the moment, I'm sure I left a couple out. If anyone has some recommendations that would be AWESOME.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead seems like it could be your thing.

And while you're at it, you should get into some jazz >:Y
