Welcome here dollie.

I used to buy nothing but 7" singles as a kid, due to finances and used to listen to my sisters collection mostly.
It was probably ages before I got round to buying a full album.
Maybe, 'War of the Worlds' or something by E.L.O.
Can't really remember.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication.

Just dug it out and i'd be surprised if it still plays. Take care of your CD's kids!!

Green Day - American Idiot (when I was 12 or 13)

Sad, but I admit I was a victim of MTV. It was a little catchy, and this was the first emotional music I have ever heard, and my brother also wanted it too.

My first real album I bought was 'The Clash', and that (coupled with my incoming hormones) pushed me down the punk path for a long time until I found the Beatles.

Cross Road by Bon Jovi which is actually a greatest hits compilation.

Like Right Track I bought lots of 7" singles. I think my first was Madonna-Like A Virgin on cassette about '85.
