Led Zeppelin YES They defined Rock Music
Joy Division NO Elliott Smith I haven't heard any material The Beatles YES if I need to post a reason for my vote to be counted then that's bad times King Crimson NO Wu-Tang Clan NO the only rap worthy of any music HOF is Public Enemy The Velvet Underground YES if only for Venus In Furs |
I nominate
Clinic Smashing Pumpkins Marvin ***e Public Enemy Jesus and Mary Chain John Lee Hooker |
Led Zepplin- Yes, because they have such a soulful rock feel and it makes me want to go driving.
Joy Division- Yes, because they are super influential and pulled out all the stops to make their albums. Elliot Smith- Yes, because his singing and songwriting is absolutely beautiful. Beatles- Yes, cause come on, it's the ****ing beatles King Crimson- No, because I don't take the time to listen to their music. Wu Tang Clan- Yes, because they have amazing lyricism and beats and an edgy flow, add some straight G's such as ODB Ghostface Method Man and RZA? you can't beat that. Velvet Underground- Yes, because they never made an album that didn't either blow me away or influence me in my music. |

Led Zeppelin - Yes, although I haven't listened to them in ages, i don't forget what I used to listen to.
Joy Division - Yes, two superb albums that never gets old. Elliott Smith - No, because i find some of his stuff boring. Beatles - Yes, I don't think any explanation is needed. King Crimson - Yes, because they keep evolving and i would consider their music a step above most other prog. bands. And lets not forget the influence. Wu-Tang Clan - No, although I did like Enter the Wu-Tang, one album isn't good enough for me. The Velvet Underground - Yes, but not a convincing Yes. Mainly because of their debut and Influence. |
