The Most Pretentious Album Review Ever!

If you think Pitchforks review of Kid A was bad, then get a load of this.

All I needed to see was the name "Brent DiCrescenzo" at the end to know you were right.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I can't even read it it's so ridiculous.

On a completely unrelated note, is the album actually any good?

spark10036 09-27-2008 08:04 AM

it's a ridiculous review, but really I'm now very curious to listen to the album...anybody listened to it yet?

Wifey Boozer 09-27-2008 10:23 AM

Is that guy on acid?

Double X 09-27-2008 10:49 AM

Is the link messed up...or was it basically a story that had nothing to do with the actual music...

Brad Stengel 09-27-2008 01:06 PM

Did J.R.R. Tolkien write that review?

Peerbreed 09-27-2008 02:54 PM

lol seriously?

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 09-27-2008 02:58 PM

HAHA WOW

Tyler Durden 09-27-2008 03:25 PM

what does this Brent DiCrescenzo guy take when writing his reviews?
I read the kid a one after this and he was rambling on and I could only understand every other word lol

Alfred 09-27-2008 09:41 PM

That must have been some acid trip.

Seltzer 09-27-2008 10:42 PM

That was friggen appalling.

WWWP 09-27-2008 10:52 PM

I have to say though, it sparked my interest.

lucifer_sam 09-27-2008 11:21 PM

That was worse than actually listening to the album.

simplephysics 09-27-2008 11:25 PM

The Sunn O))) White1 review is alot worse.

Minstrel 09-27-2008 11:34 PM

I thought it was hilarious. It seemed pretty obviously meant to be over-the-top, not serious writing (and yes, I'm familiar with both Pitchfork's reviews and DiCrescenzo's writing). I didn't read every word (even for something meant to be crazily elaborate, it was far too long) but the concept was absurd and funny.

"Now we make music."
