100 Things About Music That I Have a Neutral Opinion Of

This is my list, if you want to add stuff, make your own.
In no particular order.

From Wikipedia:
Quote:

The accordion is a musical instrument of the hand-held bellows-driven free-reed aerophone family, sometimes referred to as a squeezebox. A person who plays the accordion is called an accordionist. It is played by compressing or expanding its bellows, while pressing buttons or keys, causing valves to open which allow air to flow across reeds inside the body—strips of brass or steel that vibrate to produce sound.
Sounds alright to me. My experience with accordions is limited, but I can't say I have any reason to dislike them, nor do I have any reason to sing their praises. Accordions can be played without accompaniment. Although more of a folk instrument, they've found some use by modern rock bands. Which is alright I guess.

hmm lol. Just out of interest are you actually gonna see this one through..? cause i think you've made your point. But still... I was always pretty blasé about the soundtracks to popular TV dramas...

FaSho 09-30-2008 07:35 AM

I had a neutral oppinion on accordions until I heard Madvillain's Accordion song, the instrument makes that song a classic, and I'm now very pro-accordion.

Educated learning is best left with Bill Nye.

My physics teacher looked like Bill Nye.

Alright I guess. Some people love this shit & others think it's boring as hell... I don't see what the big deal is either way. I was going to write about the upsides and downsides but I sat here for like five minutes trying to think of positive & negative traits but I really just can't think of that many. Don't really care that much.

whatever.

I know it's what's in the box. But what is it?

I wouldnt buy classical music (because I like music with words for some reason) however classical or symphony style is really cool for backdrop in movies or Bugs Bunny Cartoons. Blue Danube anyone?

It`s like a learning thing for 3-8 year-olds that`s disguised as an oversized Gameboy.

Ah. That's why he's pissed.

swim 10-01-2008 01:31 PM

I listen to the classical station in my dad's truck because I'm to lazy to make tapes. It's ok sometimes.

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 10-02-2008 12:09 AM

Big deal. Probably killed himself because he realised what a mainstream piece of shit his band was. If only he knew where it would end up - I bet he'd do it again. It doesn't really matter either way, either they would've continued to make more weak music or ... well, this. Seems like a lose-lose situation to me.

Hopefully I'll stop hearing about him when his ashes get smoked, but I really doubt it.

i think out of anybody else(rocker), Kurt Cobain seems to have been the biggest thing of "who's died" honestly i really dont give a damn either. im not going to say i didnt like Nirvana, but come on, he's dead, Nirvana's dead. Move on.

blackspots 10-02-2008 10:38 AM

weak music? i'll agree that i dont think nirvana are the greatest thing in the world but lets not say it was without any redeeming qualities. that's just ignorance. as for his death. . yeah i don't care. also, their last album "in utero" was the bands best work then he died, so saying "either they would've continued to make more weak music or..." is odd. they just started to get better in my opinion. .

Folkie2 10-02-2008 06:23 PM

i dont really know what i think of nirvana i used to like a couple songs but afer that i couldnt see why they were good they all sound bad now

Brad Stengel 10-07-2008 05:31 PM

I love Nirvana, because among the hipster community it's probably the uncoolest band to like.

I really do regardless though. They just sound like a catchier Pixies. What's the difference between In Utero and Surfer Rosa? In Utero is hookier and sold a million copies, thats about it.
