Check this out. I've always said it will happen, looks like it might? I'd pay a F*&^n $1,000 bucks for a ticket if it does.

Gold Smiths | The Sun |Showbiz|Bizarre

I doubt it will happen. I remember Moz once said he'd rather eat one his balls then play with the Smiths again.

It'd be nice, but it's a Sun story, so take it with a pinch of salt

insinkerator 10-24-2008 03:55 PM

its in the sun, so is therefore lies by default.

I have also herd that Morrisey turned down 7fmillion to do a world tour, so i doubt hes gonna be up for it to be honest

Maybe his balls have become less tasty over the years.

It was $75 million.

insinkerator 10-25-2008 03:16 PM

woops the "f" is supposed to be a 5 lol

guess i wasnt dreaming things then. What i heard was true.

I really doubt he will do it. Plus i would be worried that it would be so hyped that it'd be an anti climax. I dont wanna ruin the smiths

No band is that frigging good. Expect to pay a gazillion dollars for a ticket then to recoup costs if it ever happens.

This is for a world tour though. So with sponsorship, and the cost beng spread across a fair few gigs, i doubt the tickets would be completely off the scale.

Knock it down to a million then ;). In all seriousness, ticket prices would be ridiculously OTT.

£200 at the very least, definitely. I'm not sure how bothered i'd be to be honest.

I can't think of anyone I'd pay that much to see.

Double X 10-27-2008 01:13 PM

I'd pay 300 dollars to see a 3 hour long Beatles concert with material from 65-67 with all of them alive and in their prime still in 1967. Them or maybe The Who in their prime.

Morrissey already did. =/

They must really hate each other. $75M is a lot of money.

Even after turning that offer down, it really wouldn't surprise me if he wound up doing a Smiths show.

He's always struck me as kind of a flake.
