Question So...this iPod...

I am deciding if i should get one of these buggers. Although i have no idea of any of it's capibilities. For instence, can i delete music from it and can i transfer files from the iPod to my computer. Also does is support mp3's from P2P softwares. Owners of iPods or people with knowledge, please speak up.

iPods are great if you want to look cool to people who like other people to look cool, but there are tons of cheaper Mp3 players out there that do the same job for a hell of a lot less money. Any Mp3 player will accept any Mp3's whatever the source.

Try a Creative Labs or a MPIO, they make great little players, but if you have anything approaching a large collection then you'll need a Hard Drive MP3 player.

yeah that's true the iPod is pricey(understatment). But i guess its a pretty good deal considering it holds 5000 songs, vs the flash memory based players that hold 500. But 500 is plenty though right? Still i want to know if iPod or anyother mp3 player will play files downloaded from P2P networks.

hmmm, i've had lots of probs with my ipod and i wish i'd have waited and got a different, cheaper version. cant help u with the technical stuff...although u can delete songs from it. But be wary...the battery life is crap on a lot of them (I had to send mine back) and mine corrupted quite a few times...I'd say look around and see what else is out there before getting an ipod. I wish I had!!
