Please complete my 80s playlist
Hi guys, this is my first time posting here. I want to create a kick-a$$ 80s songs playlist for listening in my car as I am absolutely bored with all the songs in the radio right now and also all the CDs in my car. Right now I only have 3 tracks, so I seek your help in completing my playlist by suggesting 80s songs that have the same "mood" as the ones that I have. Thank you in advance!:tramp:
1. Dancing in The Dark - Bruce Springsteen 2. Jump - Van Halen 3. We Built This City - Starship |
When Doves Cry - Prince
Lessons in Love - Level 42 Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley My contribution. |

Little miss dangerous - Ted Nugent Ratt - Round and round |

Girls on Film- Duran Duran
I Ran- Flock of Seagulls Rapture-Blondie |
Tainted Love - Soft Cell
And Kayachi, Hungry like the Wolf is a much more appropriate 80s classic than Girls on Film :p |
|

|

|

Jam - That's Entertainment Human League - Don't You Want Me Eddie Grant - Electric Avenue Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Want To Have Fun Gary Numan - Cars |
So it's basically like any compilation of 80s music that we've heard thousands of times? Then I would suggest something like this .. Most of these guys had more than just one hit in the 80s, so you can choose something else from them.
Alphaville - Forever Young Sandra - Maria Magdalena Bon Jovi - Livin' on a prayer Madonna - La isla bonita Talk Talk - It's My Life Nik Kershaw - The Riddle Cutting Crew - (I just) Died in your arms Yes - Owner of a Lonely Heart Men at work - Land down under Falco - Der Kommisar The Clash - Rock the Casbah The Bangles - Walk like an egyptian Billy Idol - White Wedding Lenny Kravitz - It ain't over 'til it's over David Bowie - Let's Dance Wham! (Or George Michael) - Careless Whisper Foreigner - I want to know what love is Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited Sabrina - Boys Tears for fears - Everybody wants to rule the world Nena - 99 Luftballoons Toto - Africa Whitesnake - Is this love Kylie Minogue - Locomotion Limahl - Neverending Story Frankie goes to Hollywood - Relax Kim Wilde - You keep me hanging on Run-DMC - It's Tricky Whitney Houston - How Will I Know Midnight Oil - Beds are burning Rockwell - Somebody's watching me Grandmaster Flash and the furious five - The Message I could suggest stuff like Dio's Holy Diver, but it's too good for such a list. Or - you could just get a "hits from the 80s" CD. |
thanks for all the suggestion...i'm liking a lot of the songs that you guys suggested...keep them coming
