Good Trip Music

Hello I am looking for just some general middle eastern and hindu music that sounds really chill and it would be good if it was just instrumental but if there are lyrics It would be best if they were in indian or arabic

Well a lot of this isn't really Indian necessarily but check out Chakrah's Dream. Very relaxing and different.

Also this band Air has some Indian influenced parts.

Thats full of sitar which is extremely similar.

I suggest just searching torrents or whereever for some Goa trance. That originated in India.

Good, I was looking for something with a good lot of sitar. Know anything else?
Oh and by the way I heard this amazing song the other day, it was almost entirely instrumental, but it was just brilliant, had an excellent beat and beautiful. THe only thing said were a few indian words at first and then he said "I'm sorry, you will have to learn it from the guru" or something like that. Sounded very hindu, amazing song. Any clue what it's called?

You want some Karminsky Experience:

John Zorn's Masada stuff. Alot of chilled, jazzy, middle eastern and jewish stuff in there, with the exception of some of the crazy thrashy-jazz stuff. This song might not be the best... that good ol' atonal thing starts to sneak its way in a bit later. This one is a bit better: Karaim.
