Sublime Frequencies is one of those labels of which I
have to have it all. Even a picture of myself on the
interwebs has me wearing an SF t-shirt. The SF
videos are stunningly great too, so try to see those!

I really can't wait to explore the entirety of their discography. I'm trying to savour it as much as I can. I can see myself returning to the Molam albums for a long time from now (much like the Northeast Cambodia, the Group Doueh albums, and pretty much all of the albums from the Ethnic Minority Music series).

Speaking of which, got any good molam recommendations?

There's lots to love on SF. This latest one with those photographs from Charles Duvelle
from Ocora is wonderful and then you start delving into the other bigger things like
"The Indian Talking Box" and so on...

There's good molam on other labels too,
like Lyrichord and this fun one from Soundway:



There's a volume 2 too.

A extension of that is Jah Wobble's album, "Molan Dub"



I'll have to give it some more thought when it's not 4 AM.
